It was a hard week for my aunt and uncle. Last Sunday they were risen out of bed by the sound of a fire in the back yard. My uncle ran out to find his mother's trailer engulfed in flames. He instinctively ran into the trailer only to find that the smoke and fire was far beyond anything they could do. He was forced to get out and watch the trailer burn to the ground.
I was asked if I could take pictures...
Books, Magazines, and paper documents were everywhere.
Uncle Allen in the midst of what is left.
These were the steps leading up to her door.
RIP Joyce Clover, I love this picture, My Uncle's family name is Clover. I saw this sticker on the back right before they took this section of the trailer down.
The story went on with praise as everyone realized the power of God and his protection over my aunt and uncle. Joyce was continually caught smoking in her trailer and even found in the midst of smoldering articles before. They had a feeling this was going to happen sooner or later.
About 10 feet away from where Joyce's trailer stood, there is a full propane tank about 6 feet long. The fire made it no where near the tank and this left us praising God all the more.
The night after this happened, my Aunts family, her sister's and brothers, my mom included came together in support for the loss. They were humbled by the vision of seeing Bea and Allen standing by the trailer in prayer in the end of the day.
RIP Joyce Clover
